Based on research at Scripps University, yes. Scientists there used monitoring electrodes to measure electrical stimulus in the nervous system of several different types of sea creatures. Mussels, Oysters, and Clams all showed definitive nervous response to induced pain, proportional to the level of trauma induced.

pain is signals to the body that something is wrong. so I'm sure a mussel would know if something was wrong with it and feel where the problem is. even a plant knows where an injury is and repairs it, so in order to do that it must feel where it is. i do think logically that mussels would feel pain and everything that is living can heal and die.

I think we feel pain with our nerves...
there are nurves evey where...even in mussels that's how we feel pain in them..
