Everyone should know in the laste 80's early 90's the goverment was funding the Needle Exchange Program throughtout the world which basically was a van that carried clean needles and drug addicts could come and exchange there dirty needles with clean needles to stop the spread of AIDS, but in a sense isnt that a contradiction of the government why if your trying to stop drug use would you support the habit?? by saying well drugs harm people but AIDS kill people.The governmet has a lot of explaining to do with this one.

Why doesn't the government hand out cigaretts to smokers?
Why don't they give beer to alcoholics?
Why don't they pay for hookers for sex addicts?
Of course the needle exchange program is stupid, just as enabling any addiction is stupid. I don't know why the liberals just can't stop messing other peoples' lives. If someone is dumb enough to do drugs, and dumb enough to use dirty needles, then let them. Don't use my tax dollars to pay for stupid people's mistakes.

yes, it helps because it cuts down on people using dirty needles. The less drug addicts that have AIDS, the less people who need goverment funded health care. It's always smarter to save money up front.
