Does anyone have a clue as to why this could be? Sometimes after I defecate my rear feels like it's on fire or super itchy.

External Hemorroids
Pinworm
Candida Infection.
If it has been coming and going for awhile, I would be more likely to go with Hemorroids.

Probably hemorroids, but if there is bleeding, see a doctor just in case. You could have rectal fissures.

Try taking warm baths, as showers don't clean the rear well.

If it's on fire, it's probably too much Popeye's Fried Chicken. If it's itchy it's probably time to take a shower and get in there and really clean it out with soap and water.

Ouch! You have already got some great answers: piles, worms, spicy food, not wiping well enough.

Until you can get to a doctor, try Tuck's pads and Anusol cream, use the pads first .. and then the cream!

Good Luck to you!

maybe you aren't wiping good enough. If you leave any fecal matter on your bottom it will burn and make you itch. Also you could have worms.
Sometimes when you have the runs or that really nasty bowel movement it will make your bottom burn. It's the acid in the poop.
If you are wiping good and it still burns and itches talk to your doctor. He'll rule out worms.............

Fungal infections. Apply anti-bacterial ointment after every bath. Avoid chilli hot foods and excessive alcohol.

Sounds to me like hemroids. You can get the internally (inside) or externally(outside). If you have ever saw blood then it could be internal and you could have torn the inside. My advice is go to the doctor and tell him/her about it. He will give you a cream that will help!!

It's all in you're underwear.......you should make sure what you wear underneath is cotton.....especially 100 percent cotton. I can't remember what your problem is called but just try this. If you're problem is what i think it is, you will notice a big difference in less than 4 weeks.

sounds like someone may have pin worms....
I try to tell people that sea food is iffy but no one ever listens....
you need to see a doctor for treatment if this is the case....
However, the way they test for it is not pleasant at all....
Good luck with that...
