I heard that an extremist right wing Flemish party has the majority of the Flemish votes. I also heard that because of this gay people can't vote and have to pay more taxes?? Could this be true? If it is:
Who are they to look down on us and our republican president when gay people can't even vote?

Come on...think about it logically...gay people aren't blue or tattooed on their forehead GAY - the government has no way of knowing who is gay and who is not. Besides that, given your statement...who in their right mind would admit to being gay if the taxes were higher for admitting so.

Thats bullshit, belgium even legalized gay marriage in 2003(30 september). Of cause they can vote! And theres no extremist right wing flemish party neither.

I think you re smoking the wrong stuff.
In Belgium and also other countries in Europe the marriage for gay people is legal and they certainly don't have to pay more taxes than someone else. In Belgium you're obligated to vote by law so ever body goes voting.
That of voting makes me think it's more something for the ultra Conservative republicans in your country where also many people looks down on the president.
