AMP,

Interesting remark. I find it very stimulating, will we ever achieve it?

Buddhists call it "Maya", the belief that everything which one sees in this world is illusion. I believe William Blake had that in mind when he wrote "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell."

For the likes of Aldous Huxley and Jim Morrison,it seems, they remained opened as long as they took mescaline and LSD. The suffering they endured as they approached the end of their lives suggests that those doors, if indeed they opened at all, remained if not closed, at least half open.

With a true perception on anything, a true perception of everything is possible. Unfortunately, people physically do not have the capability of this now, nor have we ever had it. If you did have a correct perception on a situation, all things would appear as they really are...either infinite or bound by parameters.

The door of perception has been open since birth. What other way is there for an individual to grow, to learn, to appreciate and come to the reality of life. 'Things' were here long before you & I, I don't doubt they'll be here long after we've gone too. Perhaps we'll have the privilege of answers since time begun to venture on in what could only have driven us insane in our current & limited form.

There is a subtle but important difference between "all things" and "everything". Whereas "everything", meaning the universe, can certainly appear infinite, "all things" implies that each individual thing would appear infinite, which would certainly be confusing.
