I loved Mario Lopez, but I think he should be dancing with Cheryl.

I really liked Emmitt. But I think a lot of it has to do with the song that they choose and he had the best one, IMO.

Mario definitely has an edge on the other in the dancing category. Those hips can really move!!
I had an interesting thought though, I noticed that they had the voting open during the entire show, and then only for 30 minutes after the show ended. Don't you think this put the first dancers at a big advantage, because people had almost 1 1/2 hours to vote, where the later dancers only had 30 minutes? I don't know why they changed the rules, but it doesnt seem at all fair.

I agree with you Mario was the only guy that danced. Jerry Springer and Harry Hamlin were awful. But then we have to understand this is the first show. Mario and Cheryl would have made a perfect couple.

I love football! Emmit Smith was GREAT! He surprised me, I think most of the moves they did were football moves! Awesome! It was great! Cheryl incorporated that into the dance moves...she's awesome! She's one of the best dancers, she knows her moves! I hate Jerry Springers show, but he makes money! And, yes, he was great! That country singer girl...not so much. Vivica..was awesome. Harry Hamlin, he's learning. Joey Lawrence..I thought was good. I love Louie....so he's great anytime!
Ugh, am I too into this or what ? Love this show!
Think it takes such hard work to do this and I admire everyone for doing it!
Oh by the way.... Marioooooo!
Let's see if we can get those NASCAR guys dancin'!!

Mario Lopez did a great job as well as Emmitt. Have to say though that Jerry Springer did pretty well for his age. Harry looked to stiff.....maybe his wife should help him out a bit

Although Mario says that he didn't have dance experience, I remember that he would throw some ballet moves when he was on Saved by the Bell. He did good. Vivica looked lost to me

I agree. My favorite was Mario Lopez, although Emmit Smith was surprisingly agile and good as well.

I loved Mario Lopez!! Wow, can he dance!!! Also Emmett suprised me.......he can move too!!
However, I didn't enjoy that country music girl and what's his name - the news guy.
