I was thinking that because of the way my life has turned out at present, what would my life be like now if I had made a different decision then.
The decision I made in the past was instead of going into the army, I opted to go to bible school and just recently found out that it was a cult that I was sucked into! So I spent 33 years in it! I am free of it and picking up the pieces of my life. What's done is done and I am just going forward with my life.

The other thing is that I could have been a hair model.

What other path would you have taken if you had that choice to go back and do so.

no, but it is interesting to think about sometimes.

I wouldn't. I've made a few foolish choices over the years but I don't regret my experiences. If I gave up the bad things, I may lose some of the great moments too. That's terrible what happened to you though! Sometimes when we make bad choices we think it would be nice to go back and change everything but I believe things happen for a reason even if we don't realize why. Sometimes there are valuable lessons we need to learn. Even if it's hard. If you change one thing it sets off a chain reaction that changes everything. You wouldn't be who you are today without your experiences up to this point. The movie "The Butterfly Effect" is an interesting study of the idea of going back in time to correct mistakes but it doesn't quite work out as he hoped...

If I could go back in my life and change it, I definitely would.

My biggest mistake was that when I graduated college with a B.A. in English, I got secretarial jobs. The reason was low self esteem. I didn't think I was capable of doing anything else. Now I think I would have tried to get a job in the publishing field because I love books and I am good with words. Maybe I could have been an editor.

I honestly wouldn't change a thing. I believe that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. All of the decisions that I made, whether good or bad, lead me to be the person I am today, and a much stronger person at that.
Every day and every moment is a brand new start so I just look forward!

Well, I'd have to say absolutely nothing. Not that my life has been great, but I love where I am right now, and I know I wouldn't be here if anything were different. Also, all the stuff I've gone through has made me a more compassionate and well-rounded person who is able to help others who have gone through similar situations.

so many lost loves!!with a little bit more effort and with what i know of the world at this point in my life in believe i could make deeper and more lasting committments and put aside a lot of the pettiness and short-sightness that lost we soo-o-o-o-o-o much love....precious,precious love!!and there were so many times that my financial instincts were "right on the money";but i didn't have the capital to avail myself of those "grandiose opportunities" that could have benefited al those people around me that i love!!!money can be a very good thing!!!especially with much world-wise insight!!!

I honestly wouldn't change anything. No things aren't perfect, but I like where I'm at in life. If it weren't for one little decision I wouldn't have met my husband and wouldn't now have my two beautiful children.
