You need to understand them. They have a disease, no, more a condition. It's a form of Obsessive Compulsion. They need to make gays feel as awful as possible so they can then 'save' them. It's a tried and true tactic, even the army stills uses it. Break a man down, then build him up, but in your image. Religion is a drug used by people who, and I mean this seriously, cannot think for themselves. If you look at most people of 'faith' they tend to be less educated, not as motivated to discover the world, and if they do, they tend to want the world to conform to their singular vision. Theirs is view that does not allow for colour, they prefer the stark black and white of scripture. They should be pitied for what they are missing and not held to ridicule, although I confess, some of their questions and answer do sometimes invite it. Allow them their rants, answer with conviction and remember that they are children with special needs. Pat them on the head and sooth them with a 'there there now'.

Well, because they get responses. If people would ignore them, they would not be annoyed by them, they would be more likely to go and play in their own little imaginary sandbox.
There are enough reasonable people in this forum, asking reasonable questions to make it worthwhile, though. You just gotta slog through a lot of mush to get to the good stuff.

I'm religious,but i'm not a maniac.I find it interesting to read the questions.Also my brother is gay,so it is good to know about the gay communities out there.I could do without knowing about somethings,but i am an adult.

They feel so VERY important when they see their BS posted on a website.
Then, of course are those who are trying to find a way to help "liberate" your money in the name of "curing" you of your gayness...it's called "Exodus" and it is called SCAM.
