if it isn't strep or tonsilitis...just swollen, sore tonsils when you ate sick.

any sore throat that lasts for more than 3-5 days, or is accompanied by a fever should be looked at by a doctor, or medical professional
Even if you went to a concert and were screaming your head off - giving yourself laryngitis, your throat and voice should be back to normal with in 2 days.

Depends on what type of sore throat it is, if it is allergies, it may take longer to get over. Take vitamin C and gurgle with warm salt water. And take antihistamine. Get as much rest as you can.

About 5 days if you make every effort to try and improve the situation; hot drinks (lemon & honey), plenty of rest, and so on. Get well soon '_'

it usually last 5-7 days gargle with warm salt water and spit it out dont swallow
