People are so quick to point fingers when they should really be looking in the mirror. People stop at nothing to tear down others to make themselves look and feel better. It's because it's a "me first" society. Everyone thinks he or she is special and therefore "deserving". That's why we see so many rude drivers on the road.

Most people tend to be in denial about a lot of things. It's easier to believe the good stuff than the bad stuff about yourself.
No one likes to admit when they're wrong or when they're on the wrong track. To do so means admitting that you're imperfect.
