My wife has just given birth to a beautiful baby boy, Hugh Jass. He is perfect, so cute and a real bundle of energy. Sometimes I wonder how I could ever produce such a person. Recently though I have been having doubts as to whether he could be mine and it’s tearing me apart. He doesn’t look like me at all. Me and my wife have blonde hair yet his is black. Me and my wife have blue eyes but his are brown. Even his features look different to mine. I think the biggest thing though is that me and my wife are white and he is half cast. I challenged my wife about this and she said because of a vitamin deficiency when she was pregnant, it can change the child’s skin tone. I was going to ask our doctor but he is a very close friend of my wife’s and I don’t want him to tell her I went to see him about it. They always have nights out together so he may let it slip by accident. Also he is black himself and I don’t want him to think I have a problem with my son being half cast.

I see your plight...don't worry...most children shed their skins after a couple of months, or is that snakes...one of the two, but who can tell the difference, right?!

Okay, if what you're saying is true, you need to ask a doctor. I have never heard of vitamin deficiency causing that kind of reaction with babies. I have had 2 children and I am anemic, this didn't affect my childrens color, hair, eyes, etc. in any way. You need to speak to an OB/GYN and get your answer. After that, you need to get a paternity test done. Maybe a little counceling as well. Thank you.

Take a DNA test. That's the only way you can be 100% sure. Besides, my daughter does not look like me but she has other things like her big feet & slim body thats my mirror reflection. Just wait a few months to see the changes the baby is going through & determine from there.
