Equifax is the external body which is used by businesses to check your credit rating. Contact Equifax directly to get them to send the information they hold about you, and explain why you have a bad credit rating according to them. It is your right to access information held about you under the Data Protection Act.

why don't you open a BT home telephone line.
Then buy a cheap international calling card which have freephone number usually start with 0800.
if you use 0800 then Bt will not charge you.
those cheap international calling card you can buy 3 or sometimes 4 card for £10. or you can go down to Chinatown and you can get a £20 card for only about £13.

another way is there are a lot of pay as you go phone company that offer free evening and weekend call to local number.
using you free evening or weekend you call then dial local number that start with 0207 in your cheap internation calling card.

another advise is this; day time calls are very expensive.
try doing most of your call in the evening.
you can always call your relative in the midnight which might be morning to them. look at the time difference.

hope this is helpful to you

equifax cant reject you as such as the are only a credit reference company. 02 would have to have credit checked u and ur credit check was the reason for the decline, the only involvement equifax have if that they can provide you with a copy of your credit file aslo a company called experian are exactly the same as equifax,

you can get your credit report from equifax by sending them 2 pound postal order , they will send it to you so you can find out why they are not letting you have credit, its normally un paid bills , so when your credit report is clear you will be able to get credit again
