Has anyone really sat down and thought about the true intentions of the space stattion? I beleive it is a last ditch to save a select few from the impending doom of the 2032 comet with a calling card for earth. If this is so dont you think a lottery should be held or should they abandon it and face the music like everyone else?

If you really want to analyze the possibility of what the station could be used for, really the only conclusion you can come to is for scientific research. If the was come cataclysm on Earth, the station would not have the resources to self sustain for very long. This particular conspiracy theory does not really hold up under inspection

that's not true. there will be no doomsday for millions of years to come. space stations are made to observe the outer space more efficiently, because there is no atmosphere in space that inhibits entrance of light. it will also serve as a launch station for future projects, such as manned trips to mars or venus. with space stations, such projects will be a lot easier because less fuel is needed for takeoff due to the lack or minimal gravitational pull of earth

What a silly idea. The space station would not last more than a year without resupply from the ground.

Sorry, Mister Gullible, but it's true intention is far more sinister than that. Think "military applications" and you'll have gotten a good start in the right direction...
