I have FFX and X-2, Dark cloud 1 and 2, Star Ocean:'til the end of time, Wild Arms 4. I heard Dragon Quest XIII is kickass, is this true? Any suggestions are welcome!

final fantasy x, magna carta, shadowhearts 1,2 and 3, dark cloud 2....i didn't play 1 , digital devil saga 1 and 2...and I'm playing wild arms 4 right now.

Personally I love Dragon Quest 8. Don't get very many old-school RPGs like that now. They seem to think people don't want them or something. I thought Star Ocean:til the end of time was alright but didn't really draw me in like Dragon Quest 8 did. Now if you like the FF's new direction then not sure how you will react to DQ8. As I said it is old-school. The series hasn't changed in that sense, yeah the stories change and it gets some innovations. As the style though it remains old. Much like the orginal FF and how they kept that style until about 7 or 8, then went back to the old-school for 9.

Well a cool rpg game series are the prince of persia series, they offer a great story line with amazing graphics and gameplay. Although there is nothign to do after one completes the game, its still an awesome game series. i only have the two thrones but i have played warrior within and sands of time.

If military style games are OK for you....then Syphon Filter 1, 2, and 3, and Red Faction are awesome games.
