Would help if I knew why you want to. You don't, I imagine, want to gain a lot of fat, which would damage your health. In which case I guess you want to bulk up and be more muscular.

There really isn't a safe way to either gain or lose a lot of weight quickly. You need to adapt your lifestyle. Another answer talks about weight training and increasing protein intake and that's probably the way to go.

However, eating lots of protein, or lots of anything, means you will excrete what your body doesn't need but also gain fat. Energy derived from any source is just calories and if you take in more energy than you use, your body conserves some of the excess as fat stores.

You will need to implement a good training program - join a gym, get a personal trainer or subscribe to one of the many muscle and fitness magazines on the market. Resistance, (weight) training will help your muscles to become larger and stronger and muscle not only weighs more than fat, it also requires protein to help it develop and more calories to sustain it.

Being generally fitter will also boost your self-esteem. You will feel better about youself if you are stronger, leaner, healthier, and your new self-confidence will make you more attractive.

Here's a good diet to gain weight if your too skinny,
Breakfast-Egg Sausage and Cheese Sandwich with Chocolate Milk or 2 Donuts with Milk.
Lunch-2 slices of Pizza with extra cheese and peperoni.
Snack-Snickers or M&M's
Dinner-Double 1/4 Pounder With Cheese Meal Supersized
Desert-1 Container of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

No man can stay skinny on that diet.

Eat and drinkl a lot of high protien foods. Lift weights whenever you feel up to it. This should help you bulk up and turn your fat in to muscle which weighs more than fat.
