I don't care what any so called Dr. says-if your'e screwin' then you can get pregnant. I'm not at all religious but I do think that if God wants you to get pregnant then you will, regardlesss when it is. Just take precautions before hand girl. Even still,it can & will happen if that's the way it was suppose to turn out.

*Sigh*

People who don't know how & when they can get pregnant should NOT be having sex!

You can get pregnant at any time you have sex. During your period? Yes -- while it's rare to ovulate it happens! And you count days from your NEXT period due date, not your last period! And the cycle does not begin with the end of the bleeding. Women run a continuous cycle and are not always 100% "regular." I can't believe the misinformation you people post on here! No wonder you are all getting pregnant and can't figure out why!

When your partner wears a condom? Yes! While standing up? Yes! If he pulls out just before he ejaculates? Yes!

Yes you can. I believe most women ovulate 2 wks after their period, but I've heard from friends that are trying to get pregnant...their doctors have said to try right before and after their period for better odds..... so, there really is a possibility anytime of the month.

Chances are small, but still it can happen. It all depends on your cycle. If you have irregular periods, it can happen that an egg is "released" once your period starts. So, by the time your period is over, the egg is ready and waiting as well. This one you can check pretty much for sure with the "basal body temperature method".

no you can not as you are only able to aprox 12 days before you start......once your period starts, the chance of getting preg is next to non, because the menstration started! Before birth control, women counted the days between periods....but this isn't safe especially if you aren't regular. the best bet is to not have an unwanted preg, so either don't take the risks and use birth control or don't do it at all! these days, getting preg would be the least of it compaired to AIDS!

absolutely, you can get pregnant anytime you have sex, although during and after your period is the least likely period to happen, but it can. So if you don't want to get pregnant don't have sex.

No. Normally, you get pregnant 12-16 days after the first day of your period.

Of course you can. You can pregnant during your period, it's just not as likely. Those little sperm are resilient guys though. They hang around and wait for their chance for a day or so.

Ovulation can be irregular --- a friend of mine got pregnant DURING her period!

Yes, it's possible.

.......and in these matters, a possibility is enough for me to take necessary precaution!

Yes you can. I did. My beautiful daughter is now 34 years old. My OBGYN said that some women can ovulate twice in a month. I guess I am one of those women!
