"Then Jesus said to his disciples, "if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange of his soul?" Matthew 16: 24-27
You see dear brother, we all have a Godly void within us...and we are trying to fill that hole with things we like, such a sport, work, hobbies, sex...whatever you can think of...but we will only feel at peace the day God is invited into our lives...for He created us to be in fellowship with him, as soon as you surrender your heart to him, your cup will overflow with joy which no man can take away from you, not even death can take it away, for even death was overcome by Jesus, when he died for our sins on the cross! That emptiness you feel...that soft little voice, that's God calling you...the sadest thing for man, is to give up his search for God... no matter how far off you've been...it's never too late!

Maybe you have been financially successful and you have a lot...but your heart is not happy. There is an amazing thing that happens when you help other people. There are so many ways that you can get involved in being a positive influence in someones life. Use your knowledge and mistakes to teach someone. Use your negative and positive experiences to help someone who may be going through similar bad experiences that you may have gone through.
I work with Jr. High girls in a youth group. We just hang out, I listen to them when they need to talk and offer advice, I encourage them when they are feeling down...you know. That has meant SO much more to me than ever making any amount of money. When you impact a life you impact the future. All your worldly accomplishments and possessions mean nothing in the grand scheme of things but making a difference in someones life lasts a lifetime because they then pass that along to other people as well. Pay it forward!!! I wish you the best in finding your bliss.

Are any of us completely satisfied with our life ? I honestly don't think we are 100%. We can achieve goals ,find love ,have familes, great friends ,but still search for our purpose. This question is hard to answer as we are all individual and feel things and see life differently .Is it that maybe you have done what was expected of you by others so often that you have forgotten to do the things you desire solely for yourself ? We so often want to please everyone (boss , gf, bf, family spouses , etc) and in doing so we sometimes lose a piece of ourselves. Our purpose isnt always clear cut or easy to see! I believe that sometimes the harder we look for answers the farther away they get .Free your mind and the rest will follow. This inner peace you seek ,defining who you are ,what you are here for is within you.

You say you have achieved alot, did you do it for yourself or to please others?
We all need a challenge, something to strive for, perhaps you are at a crossroads that we all come to at some point or other and need inspirarion. You should write down where you would like to be in say, five years and what your goals are and what interests you, I find this a helpful process. Sometimes just breaking free from the life we have and starting anew is the solution, I know this has worked for me.

I think we are all searching for our purpose in life. If there is something you really feel strongly about get involved in it. Search your soul for who you really are and what your beliefs are. There are so many people out there who need help, maybe you could get involved in volunteering or something like that. Doing something for those less fortunate will lighten your heart and make you feel special. You do have apurpose, we all do. Sometimes it just takes time to find your calling. Don't give up.

As human beings we certainly 'infer' happiness on different issues ('this automobile will make me chuffed', 'this spouse will make me chuffed') and when we try this we lose skill over ourselves and now this exterior merchandise/individual thoroughly controls us. we remember on that merchandise/individual to stay as a lot as our expectations, or perhaps as they don't, we sense discontent. We conflict through when we lose what we adore and we conflict through when we ought to handle something we hate. We conflict through maximum when we do not comprehend we are doing all this. Happiness is an interior interest. word your behaviors and emotions. word even as your concepts turns to concepts of grasping or clinging and in basic terms enable it bypass. Inhale, exhale, and watch the idea come and bypass like a cloud in the course of the sky. provide your self the administration, and the peace.

people are never contented... if you have achieved what you want it means you want another thing more harder to achieve. so ends up you're not contented with your life. maybe you can join some organizations which involves church so you can be enlightened.
