I studied media law at college and it is simply LI-bel with the emphasis on the LI part. Exactly the same way you pronounce 'bible' but with an L.
DON'T get it mixed up with LIABLE as some people are telling you in their answers - that is a completely different word. It means 1) A person is responsible for something, ie, damages and 2) A person is likely to experience something.
