Young person, there are many theories about dreams. It is good to wonder about them as wondering leads to knowlege. There are many books and Edgar Casey wrote many about dreams and such..you can get them free in the library.

I believe that dreams are where we are when we our bodies are not awake. I believe that all the answers to life questions can be found there..and in silence while awake.

If you can remember your dreams write them down and look over them..you may be surprised what you find out.

Yes, I pay attention to them. Many psychiatrists and other medical professionals believe that dreams are our subconscious mind at work. The subconscious, unclouded by our emotional thoughts, is a much clearer indication of our true thought processes. Thus our dreams can be quite real in their meanings, if we can interpret the symbolism.

I do pay attention to my dreams. While I am ambivalent as to whether they are prophetic, I think we can learn alot from our dreams if we pay attention.

Did you know that:

Elias Howe is famous for inventing the sewing machine in 1845. But not many know that it was a dream that brought him the critical solution.

Howe was trying to figure out how to automate the sewing process, but could not design a process that would work. He fell asleep at his desk one night pondering the issue.

In his dream, he was in Africa, running from wild cannibals. They caught him and put him into a huge pot of water, and set it boiling. He tried repeatedly to climb out of the pot, but the natives kept pushing him back into the pot with their sharp spears.

When Howe awoke, terrified, he went back over the dream in his mind. He realized that each spear had a hole at its tip, just like a long needle. All at once, he saw that this was the solution to his problem, and his sewing machine became hugely popular!

I pay attention to my dreams because I think it's interesting to note what my brain is doing overnight but I don't think that they hold any significance or hidden meanings.

Dreams are a way for our brains to unscramble our cluttered and fuzzy heads, to file, delete and search, hence the sewing machine story. Our subconcious is deep and complicated and all sorts of seemingly random stuff pops up, but it has just been thought of, processed on a lower level of our conciousness.
Dreams do not foretell the future, though they may help clarify your plans and desires.

Not really. I don't remember most of them the next morning unless they are really terrifying or strange. Even then, I don't think they have significant meaning.

I sometimes do. Dreams are an expression of our subconscious mind, so what we think about eventually will come out in dreams.
