I'm in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. I got my lessons for... i dunno, around $28 a lesson, I believe. It was about a year ago.

I'll recommend the guy to you if you'd like, he's really nice, and a reasonable rate.

Please e-mail me and I'll give you the number.

J G is a misinformed, uneducated fool, for sure nonetheless residing interior the stone age. no longer confident once you've pronounced this, yet there are truly more beneficial autos on the roads at the moment than once you took your attempt many moons in the past. also, the driving attempt comprises truly more beneficial than pulling off, turning left and precise some circumstances and then preventing back. And it really is specially all the way down to the variety of idiotic, lazy drivers on the roads that in worry-free words had 5 or 6 training "interior the strong previous days" that stress poorly, do not understand the street code, do not signal properly etc etc..that make getting to entice close to stress at the moment SO complicated! If anybody who drives in this us of a drove they way they prefer to to pass the present driving attempt, then per chance the classic student doesn't desire quite such an excellent number of training - maximum of that are spend on attempting to foretell the moves of alternative individuals, and a thanks to guage non-signaling motorist's intentions. back up your claims with some data then come back insulting human beings interior the driving force training marketplace - you're speaking out of your bottom my buddy :)

I'm doing the same, lol.
I live in Preston, and only on my L's at the moment.
Even though i'm 22 :P
Most of the drivers i quoted said that for 45 minutes per session it could cost anywhere from $25 to $35.
The other thing is that most driving instructors will teach you for 1 hour and a half. So it could cost you about $60 per session.

You could also check out VIP driving school's website;
http://www.vipdrivingschool.com.au/index.html
It's a great site coz if you type in your post code, they can tell you the cars that are available for lessons in your area.

I also found this site (A national listing of driving schools & driving instructors. Comprehrensive information provided. All types of licenses catered for);
http://www.drivinglessons.com.au

Or a few other websites you could check out are;
http://www.exceldrive.com/
http://www.road-runner.com.au/
http://www.fastlearndrive.com.au/

I hope this helps you to find a good instructor.
Good luck with getting your P's.
