When you have more than one window open at a time...you can switch from page to page by holding down ALT and press TAB.
A window will show what is open and simply pressing TAB again will make it jump from tab to tab.....window to window....when u find the one you want, release ALT and there you go.

If you're talking about swtiching between tabs in an excel workbook, use CTRL+ Page up or Page down (not the arrows, the actual page up and down buttons)

try alt+rightkey or alt+leftkey. It also mainly depend on application you use. So it would be useful if you mention which application are you trying to use the shortcut on.
