Are you sure you want to part with your money to give to a friend in a foreign country? Worse still every month. Are your parents, brothers, sisters and neighbours well off? Hope its not going down the drain. If you are serous go to your bank, but you will have to make the transanction every month end through 24 hour telephone banking. You can also physical go and feel forms every monthend in your local bank branch. You need your details ID and the other person's bank details legal name of friend, name of bank, sort code , account number and address of friend's bank. Most banks will not set up a monthly payout to foreign countries and they will not let you transfer money to another country using internet banking. This is maybe to stop money laundering and to protect customers from conmen and conwomen. Hope its a worthwhile investment. There is a charge for this service but its far much cheaper than moneygram and Western Union. Using your bank is also safe.

You do not say where you are from, but if you live in the US, find out the number for the US Embassy in Turkey and find out if they have Western Union or something similar where you can wire him the money and he can pick it up with proper I.D. See if there is a bank there which is also in the US, and open and account in both your names. Have him send you certified copies of his birth certificate and other I.D. papers, and see if the bank will open a joint account. This way, he only needs to go the bank and extract the money, and you will only need deposit the amount you're going to give him monthly.

You can have a direct bank draft and it would go directly into his bank. Also, you can send money to Turkey using PayPal.
