I'm a packrat! I don't think I'm a hoarder; ( that might be a more serious condition!) I like to think of myself as a collector! However, I sometimes get overwhelmed by my sentimentality and attachment to certain items. I save old magazines, ( I'm going to read them all someday!) I have lots of old clothes ( when I get skinnier, I'm going to wear them all someday!) I have lots of taped VCR movies,( I'm going to sit down and watch them someday!) I love pillows, ( they're here and there, and everywhere!) You get the picture! Whatever I save, I have tons of it!
What unusual things do you "collect"? And do you have a hard time throwing some of this stuff out? For me, there's always a reason I have to keep it!
My house is clean, I'm very clever at hiding the stuff! ;~)

i save all the letters n notes from my friends, back to elementary school! One thing which i deeply regret is burning the love letters that my ex wrote me...it was too painful/ too hard to forget him...so i burned them...cried as i was burning them...n now still wished i had them! but it's all for the best...
so to answer ur answer..i guess i save things which remind me of special people in my life who have touched me in some way.....but at the moment at hoarding alot of cosmetics cos bought them cheap off ebay!!!!!
and food...cos i m obssessed with food!

As long as your (saving thing's) doesn't create a health of fire hazard, why not? You can go back year's from now and find just about anything you're looking for.That gives us all pleasure and comfort. If you are being critized, don't listen, it's your thing and shouldn't feel guilty. The non-saver's in the world don't understand. They spend far more money than they have to by throwing everything they may need later away. Me., I like saving money more than about anything. Hang in, good luck to you.
