my dad id refurbishing his flat in Edinburgh and needs: plumber, electrician, tiler and joiner.

Sorry I don't know of any, but try word of mouth. Ring citizens advice bureau and your local trading standards who will be able to tell you if they have had any negative feedback on the workmen that you are interested in employing. Make sure that they are members of a recognised organisation ie gas is corgi registered and has a card and corgi no. you can check. Trading standards and citizen advice can advise you on what you need to check. Hope this helps you can't be too careful too many cowboys out there

Shame you are not in Hampshire as I know a good plumber, electrician and a joiner. Good luck searching and remember to get about 3 quotes to get fair price :)
