I'm a guy i wanna buy a dress not sure what kind i buy. What kind and colour do u think i should get and should i get pantyhose or tights to go with it.

You should follow the rules of women who have a triangle or cone figure. (Wide on top, narrower on bottom.)
The dress should look like an upside down triangle/cone when on the hanger to balance your body. (Smaller on top, wider on bottom.) The contrast will help draw the eye down and away from masculine features, like broad shoulders.
Try a darker color on top, lighter on the skirt. The skirt of the dress should be fuller, like an A-Line or flared. The top should be simple with no decorations or patterns on it. Stay away from halters, off the shoulder, strapless, and spaghetti straps. Wrap dresses and V-necks will draw the eye in and away from broader shoulders, and they also helps to separate the chest into a smaller look. The sleeve should be 3/4 length or long to keep the eye down.
For your legs, either can slim your legs if you buy the shaping ones. If you aren't planning on shaving your legs, stick with tights to help hide leg hair. Pantyhose is a more feminine look, so if you want to wear them you have to shave. Your hose should match your shoes. Light shoes = lighter hose, dark shoes = dark hose.
If you don't have a cross dresser store near you, try the department stores. Hold up the garment to your shoulders to make sure it's wide enough. If you get any funny looks or stupid questions, you can always tell them that you are buying it for a mother/sister who is about the same size as you. I wouldn't reccomend trying it on unless you are ready to battle with narrow minded sales clerks.

I would just say go wild get two dress just in case you don't like the other. Go with your favorite color and then the other get it to match your complexion. Myself I would get both pantyhose and the tights just in case you don't like the pantyhose.

and just because i want some points......yes i think u should where panty hose because no one likes hairy legs (unless ur gay, im sry) and also wat do u mean by "wat kind of dress" like wat brand or like short or long? in order to get that u would have to no ur body sizeor if u want to no wat color i think red or ur fav color
