Definitely. There is such peace and insight into being still. The world makes sense. In silence you find yourself, you find God, you find answers...not so much in words but just in...well the silence. Hard to explain isn't it? There's something especially profound about the silence of the morning too.

Yes... and it is a learned thing, I believe. It is best when you are out on the lake and the birds are just coming alive at the booty crack of dawn... the fish are lazily tugging on the line... You sit real still and you can almost hear that big ol' bass swishing his way to your bait. Then he tugs with all his might and you have to hurry and set the hook because that baby isn't going to give you time to do it... ahhhh... I need to go fishing...

Absolutely not. I cannot stand still. Anyways, life's too short to be calm and quiet.

"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
I learned that one years ago. It makes life so much easier.
