There are arguments on both sides. If you want children, then you are likely to give your child as much love and care as any other couple.
Have you thought through the scenario of how you would raise a child? There are a thousand and one questions to be asked about your relationship, your attitudes to family life and education, your reasons for wanting a child .... all of which you should discuss and answer honestly before you make the final decision! Most children just get born to parents who tackle the problems when they get to them. In your case you have to make a conscious decision to have a child and can think about the implications much more carefully. I hope that you do - especially where the REASON for the child's existence is concerned.
I don't think that a family without a male father figure is any less of a family. Children of such families generally find what they need amongst the extended family or friends of the family. All of us have both male and female elements within us, so it is quite possible for a biological female to be as effective a 'father' as a biological male.
My personal feeling, based on the way you phrase the question and the language you use, is that I am doubtful that you really ready to guide another human being into this already crowded world ... but that is an impression based on just a few words which may or may not be indicative.

mom and dad play a role in kids life. i was watching some documentary on babies. they were saying if a single mother bringing up a baby the baby tends to play the safe side and might not grow up adventureous enough or take risk. cause a dad would usually play with the baby like carrying the baby high in air and doing much daring stuff with baby or if not the dad will in some way show how mancho he is in natural and the baby will tend to learn from that but if no daddy so there might be a lack in that department.

...how sad...why don't you get a siberian husky first, they're just like kids, but they won't mind if they don't have a dad...it just prooves how lost this generation is...children are a big responsibility, 24/7, and above all, you'll have to give an account for how you brought them up before God...as it is, you are confused enough, that's why you're with a girl and not a man, just think how confused your children would be...do you really want to make life more difficult than it already is? You're still young, think about it! ...where did you come from...what are you gonna answer your kid one day when that question pops up...but why did you have a dad...what's a dad...?????

It's expected situation since gay marriage is made legal. The solution for most such couples are to adopt a child. Any way, you have to consider what your child might turn out to be as of his social life. what will other kids say to him or for worse will they abuse him? if he has to live a depressing life since young then it'll never be a normal adult life for him. you have to consider it. why not you have a sex change? at least that'll make you a dad in appearence and others, you know.

a "test tube baby?" do you mean in vitro fertilization? IVF is OK, but people evolved to be raised by parents of the opposite sex. there's no guarantee that a child will benefit from anything unnatural by the adults in its life, whether it is cigarette smoking, drug use, or same sex relationships. not passing judgement, just pointing out the obvious evolutionary facts.

All dynamics of families make it and fail. You can come from the typical mom and dad household, single parent house hold, gay parents household. You never know whats going to happen and I say your chances of failing are no more greater than anyone elses.

i personally think a strong male role model of some variety is very important in a child's life, but fire ahead if you's want kids. a stable and loving home life is more important.

i think that every child need the model of a normal family with areal dad. however,i think that if you 2 both want that child so much then you should do so. but you have to inform the child what a family is like.
