I take it from your question that you don't have any problems writing music.
If the tune's good enough, the lyrics won't matter that much anyway.
However, if you are having problems writing lyrics, attack it in the same way that I write poetry:
Decide what you want to say
Break it down into single lines, with the same number of syllables in each
Try to make the last word, or couple of words, in each pair of lines sound the same
Break the poem (song) into verses of 4-6 lines each.
You may want to add a chorus that's repeated in between each verse.

Punk okay? Let's light it up with a quick four to start. That's Bam....Bam....Bam....Bam, You with that? First line.......Why you leave me in the underground........I need you to take me to the hospital pound...........cause I'm taking to much and now I'm starting to fall.........I hope you hear me cause I'm to weak to call. Place short solo here, suggest distortion and pedal whine. Should work well with a three piece, I'd say it scalable up too. Horns would be a nice accent. The lyrics are too simple to build on, I won't patronize You, just stay in that rhythm pattern. By the way, You can't steal this, I want You to have it; it's Your; It always was. Take care little one, and good luck!

If you need help with lyrics, don't be a lyricist, leave that to someone else. You can make tea for the band instead. You numpty.

If you can't write your own lyrics then you will either need a bandmate that does or buy a rhyming dicionary. For best results, get both.

you have to learn yourself to become a composer. read more lyrics written by pro and try to come out with yourself. you won't go far if you can't do it yourself. think about it!
