First link has the numbers saying that most media folks do vote democrat. Second, doesn't have the numbers but does refute the fact that most media is bias against conservatives.

The journalists tend to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative. The more highly paid the journalist, the more likely this to be the case. Owners and editors tend to be conservative Republicans and firmly Corporatist (the opposite of Progressive) in view. So ask yourself "Who CONTROLS the media, the reporters? or the owners and editors?"

Yes, about 85% of journalists vote liberal and left wing.
Left wingers seem to go into the news business. Some are radicals who want to change the world to their standards instead of just reporting the news.

in 2004 the pew did a survey and found that 34% consider themselves liberal while only 7% considered themselves conservate. so almost 5 to 1 are liberal.
