When we open a webpage, go file-save as; This popping up dialogue has the histories I really want to remove away. And finally I found it from registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU sellect htm branch. For Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and pick Internet Options.

Then click on the CONTENT tab and click on the AUTOCOMPLETE button. Then click the CLEAR FORMS button.

Good luck

Ideally you would want to click on the 'tools' menu option in I.E. and select Internet Options... Then under Temporary Internet Files click on the delete files button. This will come up with a sub window. make sure that you check the box that says 'Delete all offline content and click OK. You will also want to click on the 'Clear History' button as well. This should take care the histories.

Alternatively, you can do what I do. I make use of StompSoft's Digital File Shredder Pro. This software allows me to shred the history, cookies, temp files and cache with essentially one click. Thereby saving me from having to go through the process of individually deleting items.

the defualt is normally 20 sites. Click CLEAR HISTORY, and click apply and ok. Close the menu bar, now you will have no history mentioned in your browser.

In I.E goto Tools->Internet Options->General Tab and you will find the clear history button and press it.
If you dnt want to keep the history of your web-page than on left side of your clear history button there is option for how many days to keep history, keep it "0".

You can delete history, clear recent doccuments, delete temp directories, cookies, etc.... but without wiping out your hard drive it is alaways there.
