About a year back, my family and I moved out of this apartment complex:

I can see now that we are not the only people who had a problem with the apartment manager. I feel really bad for the tenants who still have to put up with her. I've sent an email to the company that owns the apartment complex, but I have a feeling that's not going to do a whole lot of good.

What is the best way to go about raising a formal complaint against this woman? Should I contact the Better Business Bureau, or is there some higher contact I can go to?

I would not suggest you to file a complaint with BBB its just a waste of time, I had tried to do that against property management company and the person came with lots of lies and it did not get anywhere. If she is a crook and you believe that you were cheated you can always sue if you believe you have a strong case, small claim court is the best no attorney is needed.

If the company that owns the property does not take you seriously its means that they do not know how to run a business, they only cares about the $$$$.

There is another website where people can complaint and expose those crooks, http://www.ripoffreport.com

You can go to TV stations that have a consumer dept like “we are on your side”; it might help and hurt their business when the media will get involved? I do not believe you should let it go if all of us will let things go our world will be full of crooks, thieves and criminals.

95% of the time when people are complaining about their buildings, landlord or property managers, they have either done absolutely nothing to help themselves or they have gone about it in entirely the wrong way.

I read a few of those complaints, and everything I saw was a situation that would have been completely different if it were handled properly by the tenant. There are ways to enforce your rights as a tenant and as a person, but people would rather piss and moan about their situation rather than truly find out what their rights are and then go about enforcing them in the proper manner.

For example, what kind of weak minded and weak willed person is going to stand there and let a property manager yell at them about unfolded clothes and tell them how to raise their children? You tell them it is none of their business and show them the door, not stand there and take it.

Forget the vendetta. Property managers and landlords are not in the business to win popularity contests. That doesn't mean that they should not try to be nice, but even if you found an avenue of formal redress what good would it do you? As long as no laws have been broken, or illegal activity has occurred she has the 'right' (seems so many are concerned about 'rights' nowadays) to manager her property as she sees fit. Witch or not.

TRY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

WE TRIED TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ON THE LANDSCAPER OUR CONDO ASSOCIATION USES SINCE HE SKIPS OVER OUR DIRT INSTEAD OF GRASS BACK YARD AND WE WERE NOT ABLE TO BUT IT IS WORTH A TRY FOR YOU. WISH I HAD THE ENERGY TO MOVE OUT OF HERE. I COULD UNDERSTAND SOME PEOPLE LOSING THEIR MIND WITH SOME OF THE HORRIBLE THINGS THAT OCCUR HAVING A MANGEMENT COMPANY. IF YOU CAN FILE A COMPLAINT, LET ME KNOW. BLUE FOR YOU & ME

You cannot prove that someone is a witch in the court or station. Locally, yes. But you can report the case to Baba God with sincere prayer and fasting.

our apartment is on there too...and its gone down hill since we moved in because the manager thinks he is god

if you let the owners now...then they can get back at you...we had a problem with ours and came very close to getting kicked out because we reported him

move out when your lease is up and look for another place
