Two food dishes (you'll need at least two of everything): $4 each
Two water bottles: $3 each
Timothy hay: $9 for a 48oz bag
Vet visits (your pigs will probably be sick if you get them from a pet store - 9 times out of 10 they are sold ill): $150 (aprox.)
Total: $284 plus the cost of fresh veggies (guinea pigs need 1 cup of fresh green leafy veggies per day)
If you get a guinea pig from an animal shelter or a rescue and buy food/supplies online:
Guinea pigs: $5-$30 each (depends on the rescue)
Build your own HUGE cage: aprox. $25
Bag of GOOD food: $9 for a 10 pound bag
Two food dishes (you'll need at least two of everything): $4 each
Two water bottles: $3 each
Timothy hay: $13 for 25 pounds
Total (assuming the pigs are $20 each): around $100 plus the cost of fresh veggies.

Petsmart only sells male piggies. It's likely they wont get along when they get older. Males are very territorial. There fights get very bloody, and someties to the death. They like to sneek up on other males and bite them on the butt. You need at least 8sq. feet to keep 2 piggies.
