Yes, we are. The majority of "young" women (I'm talking from 10 yrs. up) are influenced by commercial presentation of women. And they are beautiful and skinny! So they grow up thinking that there is something wrong with them. And it never lets up! Who starts these trends anyway? It's our own fault for falling for this crap. And men add to it by thinking that a woman who looks like a model is the "perfect" person. I just don't know anymore. We're like sheep...and sheep are not too smart, are they. Godloveya!

If they are unhappy with themselves, yes. I find that as I age the body image issue has disapaited significantly and I am more happy with my self now than 10 years ago. Pressure from friends and media don't fazz me know, I look good and probably always have just wouldn't allow myself to see me.

Definitely! I think most of the times it depends on a woman ; how a man treats her. If we stop worrying too much about our physical attributes, then we can change the way most of the men think. When women are ready to give so much importance to the physical aspects rather than focus on their inner strenghts, then how can they expect men to have true ,genuine and respectful approach and vision towards them which is actually what every single woman wants!

she was 13/14 and looked 19/20
way, way wrong!

Yes, for the most part, women are dissatisfied with their bodies. The media has been brainwashing society for years...not just women, but men as well.
