Hiya I love Dolly!!! She's fab!!! I love her acting too!!! 9 to 5, Steel Magnolias and straight talk - pure genius!!! Garth Brooks is pretty cool , Lianne Rimes has the voice of an Angel and Faith Hill is lovely!! my hubby says he likes Alison Krausse!! And God bless poor John Denver, Rocky Mountain high and Country roads are total anthems!!!

Like you I love listening to Dolly Parton. Recently I've been listen to fantastic singers if you get a chance to hear them do it. Their called Bryan White and Vince Gill.

Male -- Garth Brooks covers all the bases... pure Country and Rock Country. Tim McGraw and Vince Gill also make the grade
Female -- Reba (Dolly Old fashioned now), Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood.
Bands -- Brooks and Dunn

female- i like reba and dolly, like others and yourself said, but what about-patsy cline??? can you imagine what life/music would've been like if that plane crash had never happened??? not to mention other greats like her friend loretta lynn and tammy wynette!!

for guys, i gotta go with conway twitty. the way he can growl in some of those songs takes my breath away. who could not love songs like slow hand and i'd just love to lay you down??
