I sound as if i have the same colouring as you. I use rimmel mid brown eye shaddow on the whole of my eyelid and above. I then use Revlon black eyeshaddow on my eyelids only and smudge it out (put a little under your eye too). Rimmel liquid eyeliner goes on then, and finished with about 3 coats of Boots natural collection mascarra (i use eyelash curlers too). Gives a nice 60s look!

Mauve is very flattering, a lighter shade on the lid, blending into a darker colour above lid. This together with black mascara, black eyliner pencil along the bottom lashes (not left harsh but smudged with finger) and the mauve shadow pressed onto the liner..this should stay on without having to re-apply over the course of the evening!

Do some black eyeliner with black mascara, for some drama. Keep the lids dark. It's very sexy.
If you are looking for fun, try a silder and touch a bit of sparkles near the corners. :)
Or mind your nearest Mary Kay lady and they can do a makeover for free, really. I have been harrassed by one to do one for over a month now, LMAO!

for bigger eyes, use white eye shadow, maybe use some black eyeliner and do a really thick coating for a rock chick look, mascara, or you can do the natural look, with a little mascara and a little eyeliner, you should also maybe try green eyeliner. just experiment!

Try a dark brown eyeliner with lavendar/purple like eyeshadow. You could also try pink/mauve eyeshadow. Top it off with black mascara. Hope this helps!!!
