I don't know what you are wishing for, my first thought is that PRAYING would be the correct approach not wishing. Pray to God in thankfulness for peace and contentment of what you are blessed with in life and for what you desire. If you are praying for God to bestow extra good to you as a gift in any situation, whether emotionally, financially, mentally, physically or materially, then realize that gifts do not fall from heaven. They may come when you are open to accept from God the strength and direction he offers you to work diligently towards your desires. They may come if what you desire is aligned with what God desires for you. Pray to God, work as hard as you can and accept any help you can find. Always thank God in advance in what you ask for and pray unceasingly in all things. God knows you love Him and God does love you always and desire happiness for your life and He knows YOU ARE NOT AN IDIOT.
I'm adding you to my prayers today.

How can you love God a "100%", but talking to Him makes you feel like an idiot?

Is really realizable what are you "wishing" for?

A real prayer will never compare with a mere wish. A real pray comes from the heart, a wish can be consider as something shallow, like "God, I wish I could have $10 millions."

God knows your real needs before you ask Him. God is the only one who can reads your heart.

How big your faith is? "If you have faith as big as a mustard seed you can ask to a mountain to throw it self to the sea and the mountain will obey..."

May be he haven't gave you what you're "wishing" for, but for sure he has gave you many other thing as health, food, nice parents, a house, and a good job for you or your parents, etc.

If you sit down and analize your actual situation you'll see that from all the goodies, you have a lot. May be who needs something isn't you, but someone you know.

If you really look for good you most do it with all your heart, not feeling stupid or idiot, but proud and strong.

Mostly of the times we don't have to seek for God, at the end He finds us, Let Him to find you.

For God nothing is for accident, He knows all, but something He gave us was free will, it's up tp you, he'll never obligate you to do what you don't want. No body else has given you free will because down here always are your parents' rules, your school' rules, your job' rules, the society's rules etc. Just God was able to gave totaly free will.

So next time open your heart to Him, real and wide open.

God can not always say YES to all wishes or prayers the people ask him... Do not always ask God for something. WORK on it and God will just do the REST. He will just guide and help you. And my advice to you, always thank God for everything- blessings even problems. All things have their own purposes. God gave us problems so as to make us strong and for us to become a better person... Another thing, MAYBE God didn't answer your prayers because you're not being true and you're not praying heartily. You're just keep on wishing but never thank God.
Please don't be offended . I myself is experiencing this. I thought God never listens to my prayers but then I realized that I'm the only one whose not listening to Him. So please don't be offended. You're better than some people who doesn't like or accept God even if they know how great God is.Those people will regret because of what are they doing in the present. TRUST ME.. They'll regret.... YOU'LL SEE... SOMEDAY

If 'wishing' to God were the same as 'believing' in God maybe you'd get an answer from him.
And who is to say he hasn't been listening? Maybe you just aren't getting what you want, when you want it. Ever think of that? Maybe, in a year or so, it'll be answered.
I keep wishing I'd win the big lottery, and I keep playing, and loosing, but that doesn't mean I really expect Him to let me win.
Maybe you're asking something He can't provide at the moment and you'll just have to wait. Patience, after all, is a virtue.

God hears those prayers. Everyone of them but He does not respond in a way that you might want. A good example is praying for patience...You don't just get patience instantly. God continuously sends annoying people your way and after a few agonizing months, you're the most patient person in the world. A waiter spills a drink on you and you just brush it off...Keep praying for what you want. It's never a vain effort. Men ought to always pray and not lose heart. (Luke chapter 18:1). Remember that God is not your servant so coming to God requires alot of humility.

I understand how you feel, and I really think you're sincere. Some things are hard for us to understand.

God cares, but He is not a genie in a bottle looking to prove Himself by granting wishes. I won't presume to either understand your pain or speak for God, but I can share what He's shown me.

We do the best we can with what we know, but there are things that we simply will never know. We don't know what God knows or see things from His perspective. Sometimes we aren't ready for the answer to our prayers. Sometimes we want what isn't really best for us, or we can only find the strength to keep what we want in life if we find it in ourselves to get it.

Sometimes belief in ourselves and strength of character are best gifts God can grant us. But these cannot be just given, and perhaps God is even now showing you how to earn them. Next time you pray, do tell him how you feel, but also take time to listen.

One last thought, please don't let anyone make you think that because you are gay that you are less important or less loved that anyone else to God. It takes very little intelligence and even less character to put somebody down, and you are under no obligation to let people like that be major players in your life.

First thing you shoudnot to feel ashame by asking from God if you ask from some men then you feel ashame not from dear God . He is listening all of your prayers if you not fullill your desires now you will be rewarded later on . He is all powerfull and loving to his creature never he for get and never he sleep He is always there to listen and to help but we the human beings dont know whata is good for us . So the prayers which are better for us is being actiond but the one not fullfilled we have given the virtues like we are increasing our numbers in the answers. tc.

God doesn't grant wishes. God gives you exactly what he thinks is good for you. Good or bad everything that happens to you is for a reason that sometimes you do not understand. Live your life. Be happy. Stop wishing and start doing. Good luck and God Bless you.

Sometimes it helps to ask for something more direct, like get into specifics with your God. Actually, I talk to Father/Mother God, because they are my parents, and at age 41, I still need a lot of direction. I say, for example, "Father and Mother God, please let me lay back in your arms of support." And then I feel something warm and nurturing happen...and then continue on from there. Be patient with your relationship with the creator as you see him/her/them. Many times people are cynical about this, and it may be because they are not patient. Wait and listen for God. That is part of what contemplation, meditation, and prayer are all about. In this society of instant gratification, God gratifies at his/her own rhythm and pace. And by the way, I'm a Hindu, not a Christian. Peace be to you!

Assuming there is even a God, can you imagine all the kinds of wishes he has to entertain if he were to make everyone happy? Best not 2wish 2much for something, but to work for it! After all, God helps those who help themselves?
