you stop at the usual crossroads then instead of taking the route to your work place drive off in the opposite direction and keep going! Or on the bus miss your stop and keep going?! Then go to town and think oh well..

I certainly have, I stopped at a phone box and called in to say how ill I was and then spent the day sitting in the sun, reading a book, in a country park.

Yes I have. Once I was two minutes away from work (which is a half hour drive) and I was totally not feeling it so I called off and turned around and went home. Another time I called in late to work and I was less then a min. away and was like '**** this' and I called up and said I couldn't come in and ended up going to the mall (which is next door) instead. Irresponsible? Yes. Did I care? No.

i know what you mean you like totally wanna go to work but the car/bus takes over you brain and you like freeze til you get to town. So not your fault, you know what i'm saying?
