Besause Chelsea being the greedy team they are,have to many players so he cant get a start,any time arsenal, man u are interested in a player chelsea dive in with there cheque book and buy players when they dont actually need them,ok your going to get paid shed loads of cash,but you aint going to get games,Thats why Duff and a few others left. Wright-Phillips should have gone to arsenal,he would have become a legend like his dad

Mikel Obi will start very little matches for aChelsea this season.
There are to many big named stars in front of him.
He wont take J Coles place on the left , he wont take any central midfield spot, Only position he has any hope of playing is right sided midfield where chelsea dont seem to have a permenant starter. Chelsea didnt sign him so they could play him , They signed him so that no other team could get him and play him.
I guarentee you that it will most likely be another waste of talent just left to rot in the reserves.

chelsea need the strongest starting line up to get to the top of the tree. mikel will start playing from kick off mid season - and he'll be spectacular, trust me.

he is a young player and he doesnt have the experience to get into the starting lineup for chelsea at the moment because he is inexperienced, but in time he will gain a space, if he is good enough

There are too much midfielders in Chelsea. Geremi also got no starts.

He does not fit to Mourinho's formation yet. He is young and he will get a chance.
