I was deleting files and I deleted a favorite family picture. I thought deleted files went to the recycle bin but there was none in it. Is this photo on the computor somewhere as I was informed that even when you empty a recycle bin the files are still on the comptor somewhere. If the photo did not go to the recycle bin where did it go too? Can you help me find my photo????

We are getting there!!!! Done the search as what you said, I can see when the search is happening names of pictures as such but won't stop to show me where the pictures are at. This means am unable to trace where it is searching due to its speed to go into that folder/file to see what pictures are there. Is there such a thing as hidden folders/files that I can open?

Normally, when you delete a picture, your deleted picture would go straight away to the Recycle Bin unless you checked the box "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin.Remove files immediately when deleted".If you have checked the box, then you can uncheck it at Recycle Bin > Properties (Right Click) > Global > Do not move files to the Recycle Bin.Remove files immediately when deleted

You could try going to search and then type in the file name.

You can try doing a system search for the file name.
If you lucky it may still be left in the Cache.
