If the procedure is done correctly, you cannot. (Provided he's the only one you sleep with!) However, sometimes errors are made. Vasectomy failure is seen in 1 in 200 to 400 patients. It is due mostly to technical errors such as removal of <1 cm of vas. When your boyfriend gets his vasectomy done, you will want to have post-vasectomy checks your boyfriend's semen to make sure.

YES!!!! Most people don't know but it takes a few months for the vasectomy to really work. My friend got pregnant after her husband had the surgery and he thought she had had an affair. Make sure he gets all the info from his doctor about how long you should continue to use protection after the surgery.

Yes. I have had several friends end up with surprise pregnancies after receiving a vasectomy because they did not wait long enough or the procedure did not take completely. After the surgery he will have to provide samples to the doctor to check for complete success. Sometimes the tubes heal differently and still allow for the passage of sperm. Just be careful until he has been checked completely by his urologist.

yes
they will ask if you may want to reverse it
if you say yes they will tie it off close together
if you say no they will cut more of the cord
the chances will be super low but there is a tiny possibility that the cord can grow back or even skip
some doctors recommend that you also use a condom but then why would you bother with the surgery cause condoms are good by themselves as long as they dont break

Very unlikely, but my boyfriends father had a vasectomy, and now my boyfriend has a new baby sister. Proof that it's extremely unlikely, but it can happen.

Yes, it can happen, I personally know of a case where the man's "Vas" rejoined and got his wife pregnant again, however this is extremely rare. It is the most reliable form of contraception that a man can undertake. (besides castration or total abstinance and let's face it neither of those are much fun)

There is a very tiny possibility. For instance if a thousand men had it with in a year less than one of their women is likely to get pregnant. Its about as safe as you can get.
