He was found not guilty by a jury. The woman who had him charged had a history of falsely accusing people of molesting her son to achieve her own ends. In this case, she expected to be paid off, because he had thrown money at people like that before to make it go away. This time, he didn't, and she lost.
I have followed Michael Jackson's career since the 70's, and never for a moment did I ever think that he would do anything to harm a child. His behaviour was disturbing, though, and he really did let himself in for this kind of extortion by spending so much time with other people's kids. Still, it was sad the way he was presumed guilty until proven innocent...I thought it was supposed to be the other way around, and I guess he did too, and that would be why he left the country. I would have too.

I think that Michael Jackson is weird and not at all socially intelligent, but he may not have actually molested anyone ever. He outbid Paul McCartney for Beatles songs. I would've hoped that would've ended his career, but he did it in his prime. He has no idea what is considered appropriate. He takes little kids to bed with him because he's lonely. He deserves all of the accusations he gets. I think that he's greatly talented, but he is not intelligent in the least.
So, did he do it? Only he will know.

I personally think that he is a little weird, but not totally stupid....I dont think he molested anyone.....My Mom met the Jacksons back when she was younger & she said they are a VERY affectionate family....or were anyway....
I dont think he molested anyone....I do however think these people took his kindness & his compassion & changed it into something sick & twisted....but that is just my opinion....
Who cares if he had an amusement park before he had kids....he was also doing alot of things for the Make A Wish Foundation at that time too....as well as other Children Charities....It would have been a good idea to do this, for the terminally ill children who wanted to meet him...maybe it was for that reason, maybe it wasnt....
I just wish they would leave the man alone...& stop trying to take his money away....he didnt sell Millions of records for some money grubber to come along to it take away from...
I just dont think it was him...

I think Michael Jackson is guilty of exceptional and spectacular naivety which has led to what 'normal' people would deem inappropriate behaviour. Guilty of abuse in a sense but not by premeditated, harmful intention.
Now if you want to know if OJ Simpson is guilty - Without a doubt!!

As weird as Michael is he does have alot of money and that is what they are after and I am a mother in my opinion the parents of these kids should have NEVER let there kids go over for sleep overs. He was already in the news abut him and small boys. This wold is just getting sicker everyday!

I personnally beleive all of the claims against Jacko have been for Money.
He is a victim of himself. Would any of these allegations have been made if he hadn't changed his look? or if the rumours never started that he was crazy and lived in an oxygen bubble? (apparently he started the rumours himself!!! Explain that?)
It is shame his career turned out so badly towards the end. He should be reveered by all as the greatest singer/performer the world has ever seen, instead he is treated with revulsion.
People always say there is no smoke without fire, but in this case the smoke was black and filled with deceit when the fire was bright with love and compassion. But people couldn't see that through the smoke so made up their own minds, and once they have done that, there is no hope of changing their minds.

I take everything from the Sun with a pinch of salt.
They make their stories spicy, and change the words without changing the facts, to sell more papers.
I dont know about Michael though, but I suspect that kids family was after money.

As a parent of two teenagers, I do not understand how a parent can allow their child to spend so much time with an adult man like that in the first place. That right there points to "it's all about his money" I do feel he has been involved in inappropriate conduct concerning these boys. I am not saying he is totally guilty...but come on......What man in his 40's in his right mind is going to spend all of his time with boys as best friends???? He needs psychiatric counseling.

Dateline NBC did a show where they laid out all the evidence for and against his guilt in the original case (that he settled for 20 million dollars). There's not much doubt of his guilt (he wouldn't have settled if there were, and the evidence--particularly the body part identifications--is extremely convincing).
If you want to like his music, fine. If you want to pretend like he's some sort of a sweet guy or role model, forget it. He's a juvenile in a man's body with predatory instincts. He should be in jail, and the only reason he isn't is that he's rich.

I agree with you and the other posters. Michael Jackson is weird, he had a weird upbringing, wants to remain a child and has the money to do so. I think he needs some therapy. Parents, after the allegations, STILL let their kids sleep over! So, maybe, "He's not THAT bad". Greed!
