The Laffs need to forget trying to buy a cup.They should be building a team instead of trading their young good prospects..Look forward to this Junior "A" team to finish dead last again

the Leafs have been like that for year saying look at the guy we bring in that's the piece of the puzzle we are missing. they suck and will probably never win the Stanley cup again. but what the Leaf fans don't understand is that the Leaf owners don't care about the Cup its about the money they put in their pocket's it's been like that way back from the Ballard days. if they win the Cup they will just have to pay more money to the players and they just don't want to do that. just have the right players to be competitive and to keep the fans happy, and then the owners are getting filthy rich.

Peca brings some excitement to the team as well as a guy who can help lead. His style is great and he can help younger players improve their game. It is always easy to say that this was a mistake and why did they trade young guys for this old guy. But during a rebuild period you need to mix in guys for the short term who can help your team. Looking things over I am looking forward to a much better year.

Peca would have to be a "one man team" to be the Leafs answer. The Leafs can't afford to buy the cup - but the Detroit Ding-a-lings & NY Rangers can and have!
