I work in Birmingham at the moment but am moving back to London in a week for a new job and to be nearer to family.

I wish I had asked for more money at the interview, I'll be working as a team secretary, for a large international company. (4000 just at the office I'm at)

What do you think is a fair salary for my age? I am 24 next month

At the beginning, you should start at a reasonable wage comparable to the market. Then, once you prove yourself, and if you excel at your job, a comparable raise should follow. But, think about this. If you like your job, then there is some added value to your pay. Check the local market and find out what the comparable value of the job is worth. But, money should never be the major in what your career is to be. But, who am I, i just answered this because I felt like being silly. Hope I'm not too silly
