Are you saying you put a website URL on your desktop?
If so, the proper way is save the website as a Favorite or Bookmark.
Right clk the 'shortcut' and clk Properties and look what Target is. That may give you a clue as to what is happening. If you can't figure it out from that, post the question again with more info.
(and Print Screen doesn't "Open" ?????? )

you donot put a shortcut on your desktop.i think you should copy it in a drive such as:drive a,b,c,etc. it will be better then doing any thing else.you just copy it in drive a,b,cetc
