A cannot agree more.
Since there is a history, there are ties, incidents and events that can keep a majority of people in jobs and generating work for others.
As we grow with the passage of time we understand clearly the BS that is being fed internationally to attain covert objectives that are beneficial to a select few and these persons/entities have little consideration for the masses on whose behalf they raise and push these cases.
You will notice that the focus keeps changing from time to time like branding, the same company brings one brand markets it for a while then starts something new takes it to the peak, again reverts to the old brand and so on and so forth.

Do you honestly believe that enimity and hatred towards Pakistan would keep India united? There is no such thing as a quick fix. Declaring war against Pakistan proves nothing except a gross error in judgment. Both governments are trying to forge a peaceful and mutually acceptable solution to a very difficult problem. Why must we have to invent a new enemy? Unlike the powerful west, India doesn't need a permanent enemy to buoy up its economy. We are not in the business of selling arms.
Besides wishing to invent a new enemy, don't you think India would be better off to annihilate the enemy within which comes in the shape of hunger, injustice, illiteracy, unemployment, prejudice, corruption from ground level up?
Going to war will be a set back for India and that would be such a shame, when in all fairness, with all its problems, India is making huge impact in the overseas market. Why spoil it to avert an imaginary civil war or going to war with Pakistan?
Finally, the unity of India has no bearing on Pakistan no more than the civil disturbances in Pakistan has with India.

Good thought, but wont it be better if we had friendly neighbours?I feel if we maintained good relations, had no trade bariers etc. economically both the countries would have benifitted a lot. Also the 3 wars could have been avoided & the govt need not spend so much in defence sector. We can be patriotic by remembering the death of the martyrs against colonial powers & also be proud to be born in a secular country with such diverse cultures.

Enemity and hatred against Pakistan: Have you thought about the enemity and hatred against Indians in Pakistan? We Indians are born patriotic except some muslims. Pakistan is a real threat to India considering the fact that they have nukes. And they are building rapport with china. We are alligning with US.

I must disagree with you mate. Hatred has never solved anything. Why would you say hatred is required for Patriotism?
Love is required for Patriotism, love towards the country. I have read alot of books regarding India, the Indians are known for loving the Mother India, tht is Patriotism. To defend the mother India at all cost.
Hatred creates war not peace and war destroys culture, moral and overall character.
Why is India famous? India is famous for their peaceful and forgiving nature. Pakistan attacked them, China attacked them, did India ever attack anyone? The answer is no, y? because of their culture and traditions, which is superb.
Hate creates war, war creates disorder.
Love create peace, peace creates overall victory; Victory to the economy, Victory to the people, Victory to the Culture.

Now you are taking like a politician!!! Patriotism is all about loving your nation. You don't have to hate another nation to show, you love your nation. What we really require is an able government which does not indulge in pseudo-patriotism. Which can stop infiltration across the border. Don't forget we have more Muslims in India than Pakistan.

There is no enemity and hatred between the people of both the countries. It is just a creation by the politicians of both the countries to remain in power,as the issues divert the attention of the people.

We need not hate anybody in order to be patriotic and it is not our culture either. Hatred is easy to sow and reap. How are we sure that the entire pakistanis are evil? There is no mechanism to know the cross section view of the masses of pakistan. Its all systematically discarded. I feel sorry for the pakistani masses as they are yet to liberate themselves from the tyrants. I completly endorse the views of SAMI, he's got the views clearer.

We must love Pakistan. Keep in mind that Pakistan is an Islamic republic. Pakistan is being ruled by a military dictator.Pakistan gives no freedom of speech, expression, religion,or assembly. Pakistanis are poor , poorer than Indians . But they don`t have forums to express their grievances. One former prime minister was hanged and another former lady PM is in exile. Her husband is in a Pakistani prison. The total number of Muslims living in India by choice enjoying minority facilities given by Indian constitution, exceeds the total population of Pakistan and Bangladesh put together. Many Muslims specially Kashmiris have realised the advantage of living in secular India instead of being citizens of Islamic Pakistan. Pakistan has to provoke Muslims to terrorism . To meet the expenditure of terrorist camps and indoctrination of fundamentalistic Islamic Shariat Pakistan raised money by drug trafficking, illegal weapon sales and anti India propoganda. General Pervez Musharraf to stay in power and to prevent mutiny has to please junior level military officers by giving them all powers at local levels and by giving lavish salaries and perks.Pakistani youth find jobs only as terrorist trainees. There is no one in Pakistan who is allowed on Yahoo.
Indians like me never hate an average Pakistani man or woman. But how to love the military rulers and fundamentalistic clergy?
