hey guys

whats this about the monitor blinking if we aint got the "correct resolution" or something? mine is currently at "true color 1024X768" and "color quailty at medium 16bit" but the monitor binks alot. any idea how i could resolve this?

does mine deviate from the normal or something? whats the normal for a lcd monitor? thanks a mil (:

There is a button called degauss..try pressing that button of ur monitor and see if the blinking stops. Have placed any magnetic instrument nea rur PC like speakers. Try moving the speakers away from ur monitor. Sometimes the magnetice waves interfere and cause the blinking in the monitor

Go into "Settings' "control panel" "display" "settings" "advanced" "monitor" The refresh rate should be 60. Also, push the "Main Menu" button in the monitor. It will display the correct, resolution. If it's something different than 1024 x 768 go into "display" "settings" and make it match the monitor

Look for the resolutiuon Higher is usually better.. Go to Display properties - setting tab - Monitor tab Screen refresh rate.

Set the screen refresh frequency rate at 75Hertz or 85 Hertz.
