The section where you plug the charger in has slipped so it won't charge anymore...

Some electrical handyman work should be enough; it doesn't touch anything inside the digital domain of a computer; you say it is only charger in this fix not any other component.

Not even electrical, sounded just chassis itself warped. Just careful in servicing yourself, you don't want to hammer it and snap something in two.

Do you know someone with a soldering iron who knows how to use it? A soldering iron is a penlike tool that is electrical, the solder is like wire that the iron melts, like glueing with metal. It would be a fiddly job so it would have to be someone who also knows a little about electronics
