I definitely would not get an abortion. It is not the baby's fault it is there. I would have it and then after having it decide if i would keep it or not. In my case i would keep it.

Tough question. I hope you are not asking because you are in this situation. If this is you I will pray that my answer helps.
I did know a young woman is this situation. This was back in the day before legal abortion so long time ago but I can tell you what she did and maybe it will help. She first made sure she had not gotten any disease. Then she got some Counseling. Then she found out she was pregnant. The counseling went on for her whole pregnancy. At times she was just scared ( only 14 years old at the time). Later as the baby developed she found she could not love the child. The pain and horror of her rape just over ran her life. In the end she put the child up for adoption. This was absolutely the best answer for her.
Things are so different now because now you can consider abortion as a solution to your problem. If this is your answer do it very soon
Which ever answer you choose as right for you be sure you are talking to someone who can help you come to terms with what happened to you. It was not your fault you did cause your own rape.
Good luck and may God grant you eternal peace.

thats a very tough situation. Its like obviously you dont want to be carrying a child that has been concieved through rape - but on the other side of the coin is it fair to kill the child - whose fault it most definately was not.
Either way the woman is going to have an extremely difficult choice do you
1 - kill the baby and have to go through the aftermath of dealing with aborting a child as well as being raped
OR
2-do you have the baby, not knowing if you can love this child through the form of conception.
It is a situation I sincerely hope I never find myself in, I am against abortion, but how do you decide what to to?? I hope youre not actually having to decide this yourself and if you are I hope you have a strong support group around you

Do you mean, would I keep the child after it was born? Because that's what the wording of your question implies.
If you're asking what I would do if I was raped and found out I was pregnant, I'd get an abortion.

Is it wrong to be carry the child of a rapist???
There are going to be psychological scares which ever choice is made. However, you are talking about a Life that should not exist.
If you do not want the child abort ASAP...
A message to all those religious pro-life people out there:
We are all God, therefore God can understand this choice - The life of the Girl has already been damaged - the baby would be brought in to a situation that could affect the Girls whole family for the rest of their lives...

I could not keep the child. I would have to get rid of it even though i do not believe in abortion.
If i had the child i would regret it and probably have a breakdown looking at the child for the rest of my life knowing that its father raped me.
What if the child didnt look like me or my side of the family.
It would be best that i got rid of it.

Oh MY. Whata tough situation. I would go to a DR. and have an Amniosentesis test.(not sure of the spelling) That is a test where, at a certain point in the pregnancy, the Dr.s take out some fluid from around the baby and they can test it for diseases, malfomation, etc. They can even tell you the sex of the child. At that point you could make a better judgement. You AT LEAST would know if it would be a healthy baby. You have to search your heart and soul for the rest of the answer. Good luck. ;-)

If I were a woman, I don't think that I could. I would feel that I would always hate the child and it would be a constant reminder of that rape - however, rape isn't always by strangers. Most rapes are by close partners (I was as shocked by the statistics as you, trust me), so it would depend entirely on the context.
