I participated in a thread titled...

"do you think the reason why the US is so eager to invade Iran"

Inside this thread there was the normal rhetoric of blame being tossed around and blah, blah, blah...

Anyways.. then there was the response by a person calling themselves Happyman. Let me tell you what Happyman's response was...

"I think US will not dare to...
If such an occasion occurs, US would have pulled the trigger to herself. How many 9/11 can USA bear "

Now, I don't give a rats @$$ what you feel about Democrats and Republicans.. BUT... is this the kind of rhetoric we want to promote by all the bickering on these boards?

I would certainly hope not.

I would hope that the people who frequent these boards would let it be known in no uncertain terms that what Happyman has threatened is vile and unacceptable to this community.

A line has to be drawn somewhere.. For me I am drawing it here.

Actually, No Brendan... but you keep the facade up. Keep emboldening these idiots.

It was clear what Happyman was saying and if you believe he was morally correct for saying it then you aren't much better than he is.

ramsmenon..

Your claims are without merit. You are attempting to attribute to me a philosophy that does not exist. You are also attempting to make a claim against a country that you have no proof of.

Do not lower yourself to the stinkbeard's level. Report the thread to the FBI, they will handle it.

Happyman was correct. It's insane to think the USA can get involved in another ground war. And I think the world at large is pretty sick of our bull in a china shop approach to foreign policy. We should go back to walking softly and carrying a bib stick. If Iran continues to spread aggression, we have a great air force that can decimate the country's infrastructure. Crippling Iran would be more effective and set a better example of the USA's military capabilities. Bombardment from the air cannot be fought as ground troops can. Psychologically, it's more effective.

This person makes even less sense than you do - at least the way it's written.

However, my guess is what Happyman meant to ask (rhetorically) was "Can the U.S. afford to keep pissing off the Arab world?"

That seems a legitimate question, don't you think?

I agree with you. Don't dare the US. Not these days.

The US will dare if the US decides it needs to be done.

if Iran isn't careful we may just give their country to Iraq. It's only one letter different. Wouldn't cost much to change the maps.

yes i see your point :

US can kill innocent Iranians but Iranians are not allowed to kill innocent Americans.

Iran shouldn't be allowed to invade US that would be MORALLY WRONG but US having the mysterious right to invade any country it feels like is MORALLY CORRECT .

It makes real good sense that you dont want anybody who disagrees in this point to post in in the these boards.
