TB and VD are bad for you, i know that is a fact. As for TV? i haven`t come across many cases of it......but then i am not a doctor!
How long have you had TV?
What are the symptoms?
Without knowing details it is hard to say what the effects on you will be. I would keep a close eye on it for now. If you notice anything unusual post another question and i will see what advice i can give you.
It may be that your TV will improve over time, we can but hope.

Hope this has put your mind at ease?

You as in Me or You as in Society? Me I view it as an electronic babysitter and go through bouts of dependency for example during the NFL season - - - at other times I can be weaned away or seduced by something like the Internet. As for Society - - - what is scary about a Planet of Two pushing Three Billion Slowly thinking the same, wearing the same fashions, adhering to a narrowly proscribed set of values? Wasn't that something called the Borg Collective. Yikes - - - that said Television can be a valuable tool a means of entertainment, a source for what passes as news - - - on a purely medical level can safe can it be to have light drilled into ones retina(s) several hours a day? Peace.....

Yes they are. They produce radation but unlike your moblie phone most of it is pushed out through the back of the TV. So as long as you don't site behind the TV you will probley not get ill from it.

TV is only bad for you if you spend the entire day in front of it instead of getting out and being active. Everything in moderation, my friend.

Depends on what you watch. If you watch rubbish like Coronation St and Neighbours then yeah, it probably is bad for you, but if you are more selective about what you watch then it is not bad for you. It isn't necessarily good for you either, it's just entertainment

i suppose if you watch too much of it it is. but if you watch only like an hour or so a day than it is not so bad. it relly depends on what you are watching. if it is some what educational then i guess it could be good for your mind but not so much for your physical needs.
